After the game has been released for just about every other platform out there, Final Fantasy IV has come to the PC via Steam. Final Fantasy IV was originally released as Final Fantasy II in the U.S., and it was the first RGB to use the active-time battle system, a system that would be used for years to come.
Joystiq reports that the new PC version of the game will include, "'fully voiced, dramatic cut-scenes,' a new system for charting in-game dungeons and an 'inspiring score' which can be accessed in-game via a new jukebox feature." It also features the Nintendo DS version polygon characters, which have been optimized for the PC.
