The Elder Scrolls Online will come to Steam today, according to Game Informer. Both Standard and Imperial additions will be available for purchase. This is probably a good move for Bethesda. This latest installment in the Elder Scrolls series has struggled somewhat trying to gain a foothold in the MMO market. While Steam will help introduce the title to a much larger player base, it has some sturdy competition to face. It will be interesting to see how well Elder Scrolls Online does on Steam. Considering the Standard Edition retails for $59.99 ($69.99 for the Imperial Edition), and then tacks on a $15 monthly subscription fee, consumers may turn to one of the Free-to-Play MMO's on the store already. Only time will tell.
