Sega made a risky move when they ported their 2008 PS3 title, Valkyria Chronicles, to the PC and released it on Steam. So far, it seems to have paid off.
According to Game Informer, Chronicles sat on the top of the Steam sales charts for a short time yesterday. Just so you can gain a little perspective here, that means they sold more than Assassins Creed: Unity, Football Manager 2015, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
The people at Sega are probably breathing a small sigh of relief right now, as it seems their gamble worked out for them.
