Hey, remember The Last Guardian? The game who's trailer was so beautiful and heartwarming it made you cry tears of joy? Well, we have news about it. Basically, it's still in production.
Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., was at the Tokyo Game Show last month. Obviously, TGS was a cheery occasion for Sony this year, being the first TGS after the console's release in Japan.
While being interviewed by "Weekly Famatsu" Yoshida detailed some of the more positive details about their console, reminding everyone about the "Share" feature, faster load times, prettier games, etc.
Wrapping up, the interviewer's last question was, "What can you tell us about The Last Guardian?" Yoshida's response? "Development couldn't be better." quickly followed by, "... That might be a bit of an exaggeration (laugh). We continue to work diligently on the game, so please look forward to it."
So, there's some good news. They ARE still working on it.
