Game Informer has gotten some hands-on time with The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4. In their article, they release some details about the remake. The biggest and most noticeable difference will be that the PS4 version will play at 60fps and full 1080p resolution. They will also include a feature to lock the frame rate to 30fps (for those that prefer a more cinematic feel). They go on to say that load times have drastically improved, due to streaming information from the hard drive instead of the disc, and new features that utilize the DualShock 4 controller. Game Revolution reports the following regarding DLC,
"The Remastered version includes the Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories map packs, as well as the Left Behind story DLC. If you purchased any of the DLC that’s not included in the Remastered version, that will carry over. You’ll just need to download it to your PS4."
The Last of Us Remastered is slated for release on July 29, and will retail for $49.99.
