343 Industries has announced a new Halo title. Halo: Spartan Strike will be a twin-stick shooter that will serve as a spiritual successor to Halo: Spartan Assault.
Spartan Strike is set to release on Windows devices (phones and tablets) and Steam. Luckily, IGN is reporting that the game will be cross-buy, meaning you only need to buy it once to have it on all your devices. Also good news, micro-transactions have been eliminated from the title.
No word yet on whether the title will eventually make its way to the Xbox One and Xbox 360, but Spartan Assault landed there after some time, so it's a safe bet that Spartan Strike will do the same.
The game will release on December 14th, and will cost $5.99.
